Enterprise flow – Creating value through meaningful work
Par Patrick Steyaert
As most organizations have had their share of experience with Agile development they are now looking at how they can make their entire business agile.
Business Agility differs from Agile development in that it necessitates the involvement of the entire organization and ultimately, the customer. More than just pull of work, it requires customer pull.
On top of collaboration in teams it also requires co-creation with the customer and other partners (making them part of the team). It requires driving change not just responding to change. Today we find ourselves in an Cambrian explosion of Lean and Agile models and practices. But how do you find your way in this multitude?
And, more importantly, how do you make Business Agility stick and enduring, not just in little islands, but in the entire organization?

Continuous Delivery is more than just Tooling, it’s a Mindset
Par Thierry de Pauw
Some enterprise IT organisations are adopting Continuous Delivery thinking that tooling is enough to do the job, that all of a sudden they will go faster to market and build quality in because they are automating their existing delivery process.
Just throwing tools at the problem is not enough; to be successful, organisations also need to adopt the right mindset and establish a culture of fast delivery, fast feedback, and continuous improvement. To successfully implement Continuous Delivery an organisation should adopt a mindset focused around 3 topics:
Using these topics the session outlines some of the principles and practices behind Continuous Delivery that help improve delivery speed and stability.
The target audience for this talk is anyone involved in the software delivery process and managers of IT organisations wanting to adopt Continuous Delivery. |
